Operating companies have a choice of either our free or prepaid service. We recommend the prepaid service and it is the most professional approach for a company to follow. The prepaid service is on a monthly basis. A company can pay for one or more months, depending upon its needs. When the company pays, we provide reference services for all the employees at absolutely no charge to the employee. Live operators in our U.S. call centers handle these calls in a prompt and professional manner.

We understand though that many companies going out of business do not have money to spare. However, in the case of an organized and proper shutdown, funds should be set aside for purposes of employee separation and outplacement services. If this is not possible, then our free service is available. The service is free for the employer, however, each employer desiring to use our reference service signs up individually and pays our standard fee, which is $49.95 a month. This covers 20 reference calls during the month, which works out to only $2.50 per reference. Enhanced services are also available. Included in our fee is a reporting service. When a reference is requested, we send an email to our individual client with the details of the request.

The difference between the prepaid rate we charge a company which is typically $12.00 to $19.00 per employee and the rate we charge individual clients is based upon a number of factors. This is based upon the fact that not all employees will need to use the service, and there are certain economies of scale.

The rate we charge a company is quoted and based on various factors. We then prepare a contract which both parties execute. Advance payment is required before services begin if the prepaid service is chosen. We provide a brochure for each employee which the client company should place into the pay envelope of each employee. The client company is assigned a dedicated toll free 800 number or a dedicated local telephone number (available in major cities and other select locations listed at the end of the page) and this is printed on the brochure.

If a company signs up for our prepaid service for more than one month, the second month is less than the first, and the third is much less than the first or second month. If a company uses our prepaid service for one month, then individuals who need references beyond the only month can sign up at a discounted fee of $39.95 per month. This assumes that the client company is not going to handle reference requests itself immediately after the prepaid period. Generally though, the client company will revert to handling the calls. We provide reports to our client companys on telephone volume during the month so that they can make an informed decision on what they want to do after the prepaid period has ended.
